Antecedentes:
Esthé van Wyk, previously from Bloemfontein, now resides in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. She has sung for many years in the opera houses of Durban and Bloemfontein. She has also sung many leading roles in operas, operettas, musicals, Broadway and Cabaret productions.Esthé participated in large productions such as La Bohéme, Il Pagliacci, Don Giovanni, Zauberflöte, Die Fledermaus, Merry Widow, Oratoria (The Messiah) and Fiddler on the Roof, to name but a few. She has twice been a winner of the coveted Nederburg prize for opera. Esthé has performed under directors such as Enayat Rezai, David Matheson, Angelo Gobbato, and others. She has worked with choreographer Geoffrey Sutherland, and conductors David Tidboald, Gerhard Geist, Franco Ferraris, and others.Her performances have been for PACOFS Opera Orchestra, Natal Philharmonic Orchestra and other notable organizations. In “Fiddler on the Roof,” she performed with Gordon Mulholland, and in other productions she sang alongside Gé Korsten, Lawrence Folley, Hans van Heerden and many of South Africa’s finest voices. She has regularly sung as soloist with symphony orchestras and has recently performed in a series of Viennese concerts. Esthé is also a very sought after entertainer in exclusive corporate and private events.

Antecedentes: Miembro de número de la Academia Argentina de Letras. Nació en Laborde ( Pvcia de Córdoba ) el 17 de junio de 1928. Fué maestro de grado durante cuatro años en la Quebrada de Humahuaca ( Tilcara ). Trabajó 33 años como bibliotecario del Colegio Nacional Centenario N.1 “Teodoro Sánchez de Bustamante” de S.S. de Jujuy. Cofundador y codirector de la revista literaria “Tarja” ( 1955 ) y luego fundador y director de la revista literaria “Pliegos del Noroeste” ( 1967 ). Inició en 1960 ( 1 de Abril ) el Suplemento Cultural del diario “Pregón”, que dejó en Junio del 2001. Ex Secretario de Publicaciones de la Universidad Nacional de Jujuy ( 1988 / 94 ), creó la Editorial Universitaria ( ISBN 950-721 - 47 títulos publicados y 4 reediciones ). Antes, en 1966, había fundado su sello editorial “buenamontaña” ( ISBN 950-9239 - 35 títulos y 4 plaquettes ).
Desde 1996 es miembro correspondiente de la Academia Argentina de Letras, con residencia en Jujuy. En Mayo de 1997 es nombrado Profesor Extraordinario de la Universidad Nacional de Jujuy.

Antecedentes: Since the very young age she showed a big musical sensibility. After first musical studies she specialized the classical accordion, achieving soon the virtuosity. As a teenager, in years 1984-85, Suzana won five international contests, and for some years she continued her solo carrier with this instrument.In the beginning of the nineties, her professor of piano advised her to start the studies of singing on the University of the Musical Arts in Belgrade. Even before the end of the course she got the engagement from the Opera of the National Theatre of Belgrade. Soon, she won the first prize on the international contest “Petar Konjovich” in Belgrade. Suzana continued her artistic improvement achieving the Master degree with the famous Serbian singer as professor, soprano Radmila Bakochevich. For the Italian repertoire she studies with maestro Carlo Ventura. From her debut as Tebaldo she continued performing the principal roles of lyrical soprano at The Nationel Theatre of Belgrade as Mimì (La Bohème), Liù (Turandot), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Eurydice (Orpheus and Eurydice), Micaela (Carmen), etc. She has also performed in numerous concerts with the Philharmonic Orchestra from Belgrade and the Orchestra of Serbian Radio Television, recently The Fourth Symphony by Gustav Mahler conducted by Maestro Urosh Lajovich and one concert organized by Italian Embassy in Belgrade, conducted by Maestro Marcello Rota.From 2002 Suzana starts her Italian carrier and she performed on the stages of Ascoli Piceno, Bassano del Grappa, Latina, Rieti, and Civitavecchia. Soon she will appear in Teatro Dell’Opera in Rome.Christmas 2003: The spectacular performance in Seoul, where Suzana was Musetta in “La Bohème”, with the audience of 10,000 people in Olympic Gymnasium, was only the beginning.
